Ladies and Gentlemen,
The 16th edition of the festival is going to be a journey to the opposite poles of mime.
None of this year's productions has been shown in Poland before, which gives us even more pleasure to welcome companies from France, Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland at the three festival venues.
We are going to begin with
the legendary Familie Floz and their show which is likely to move the hearts of many members of the audience thanks to its universal message.
Hippokampe and Mangano Massip from France will be an interesting showpiece of the modern Parisian mime.
The Modern Mime Evening, as usual featuring an international cast, is going to illustrate the passion, craftsmanship and multidimensionality of our theatre, while theatre Scena Plastyczna KUL is going to take us to a different artistic space beyond words, in which intuition may become the right guide.
It is with a great joy that we welcome the world-travelling European Mime Federation project "My Mime Festival", which makes it possible to present mime art to the students of the major centres of mime education. We would like to show that our art has a wonderful future thanks to the work of so many young people.
It is for the second time that we invite you to see the "History of mime" presentation, prepared by the charismatic artists from France. We would like to finish off with the latest offering of the Wrocław Mime Theatre, which will mark its 60th birthday. In the foyer of the Na Woli Stage you will find "Stigma of time": a special exhibition of Leszek Mądzik's photographs.
Bearing in mind that in mime theatre the content might be used just as a pretext for a game of imagination, let us set off on a journey through the world of feelings and emotions beyond words.
